LuckNews allows you to edit a number of settings for each subscription. In addition, there are settings available for the application itself. These are all accessed through a series of menus.
There is a menu item available in the LuckNews menu, called Preferences… This is where you access the LuckNews Settings…
LuckNews will refresh its articles from time to time, at an interval you specify.
The Cloud Support switch is discussed in more detail soon.
You can also control how much of an articles title is shown in the Article List, the font used when displaying an article in its RSS form, and the size of the font, as shown above.
On the Mac, there is a menu item called Subscription Information… which will allow you to edit settings for a folder or subscription. To use this menu item, first select a single subscription or folder in the sidebar list, and then select the menu item.
There is also a series of context menus available on each of the rows in the sidebar or article list views. Context menus are shown in the standard way on a Mac:
- hold the control button while you click on a row to see a context menu. or, …
- ‘right click’ on a row, which is a two finger click on a laptop trackpad to see the context menu.
Note that the Subscription settings editor, shown above, is also available through the context menu.
